Coventry, UK – An exciting new food destination is set to launch at West Orchards Shopping Centre, bringing together an eclectic mix of global street food operators under one roof. Street Kitchen COV will introduce a fresh, vibrant and contemporary food court experience designed to celebrate authentic street food culture, support independent operators, and enhance Coventry’s city centre dining offer.
Street Kitchen COV will feature four independent street food traders, each bringing bold flavours and distinctive culinary traditions to the heart of the city. Confirmed operators include:
• Burrito Masala – A unique fusion concept blending the bold spices of Indian cuisine with the convenience and flavour profile of Mexican burritos, offering customers a truly innovative street food experience.
• MoMo Nest – A family-run Nepalese concept specialising in traditional handmade momo dumplings, freshly prepared using authentic Himalayan recipes and flavours rarely found in mainstream UK food courts.
• The Piadina – Bringing the taste of Italy to Coventry, The Piadina will serve freshly prepared Italian flatbreads filled with premium meats, cheeses and vegetables, delivering a fast, flavour-packed and authentic street food favourite.
• Sakura Everest Sushi and Bento – Combining Japanese and Nepalese influences, this operator will serve freshly prepared sushi, bento boxes and Asian street food classics, providing a lighter and health-conscious dining option.
The development forms part of a wider initiative to enhance West Orchards’ leisure and dining offer, providing visitors with an engaging, social and high-quality food destination that reflects modern consumer tastes and supports local entrepreneurship.
Street Kitchen COV has been designed to deliver a lively, market-style atmosphere where customers can enjoy a diverse range of freshly prepared foods in a relaxed, communal dining environment. The concept focuses on authenticity, affordability, variety and speed of service, aligning with the growing demand for experiential dining and independent street food brands.

The final operator agreement has now been secured, meaning Street Kitchen COV is fully let ahead of launch. The scheme is expected to generate significant new footfall and deliver a strong boost to West Orchards’ overall leisure and hospitality offering.
Street Kitchen COV is scheduled to open before Easter 2026, with further announcements and launch events expected to be revealed in the coming months
