Centre Information
From its opening in 1991 West Orchards has been at the heart of the city centre shopping, offering a wide choice of retail outlets with major high street names as well as independent outlets. With a 650 space car park, over 40 retail outlets and a food court with over 700 seats it is easy to see why the centre is such a success.
Open 7 days a week with extended hours at Christmas, West Orchards is the one stop shopping experience.
On foot
The centre is on Smithford Way, which is one of the arms of the City Centre Precinct Cross. Make your way to the fountain in the middle and you will see the centre.
How to find us by bicycle
Aim for the Belgrade Theatre and Coventry Evening Telegraph building on Corporation Street. Dismount and enter Smithford Way by the tunnel next to Allied Carpets. There are bike stands in Smithford Way.
How to find us by train
The centre is a short walk from the train station via Warwick Row and Hertford Street which will bring you to Broadgate. Alternatively you can catch a taxi, or hop on a number 17 or 27 bus to Broadgate where you can enter the Centre via the ramp or escalators from the Upper Precinct.
How to find us by car
Don’t rely on your satnav! Aim for the Ring Road and the Centre is signposted from Junction 9.
